Pair your AutoCAD with ConstructiVision Web once. License each drawing once. Print, plot, and reuse it forever — with or without an internet connection.
You already signed in to ConstructiVision Web. When you pair AutoCAD, the desktop plugin asks the web app for a short pickup code, you paste it into a dialog inside AutoCAD, and the two are linked. There is no second password to manage, no license file to email, and no per-seat key to track.
A first-time, five-step handshake. Takes about a minute.
Open ConstructiVision Web in your browser and sign in with your work email. If your firm already has an account, you join it automatically.
In the web app, open Settings → AutoCAD Pairing and click Pair this machine. The web app shows a one-time pickup code on screen for 90 seconds.
Inside AutoCAD, type CSVPAIR. A small dialog asks for the pickup code.
Paste the code from the web app and click Pair.
The plugin stores a long-lived device token tied to your Windows user account. From here on, every spend and every entitlement check happens automatically. You never type a password into AutoCAD.
Office workstation, home laptop, shop computer — pair each one the same way. Pairing a sixth machine retires the oldest token automatically.
ConstructiVision Web and ConstructiVision-CAD share the same token wallet, but they spend tokens differently. The CAD plugin licenses an entire drawing for life, not a single print.
One token equals one deliverable. A PDF panel book, a DXF, a CSV material list, or a printed page each cost one token. Editing, saving, and opening files are free.
One token licenses one drawing forever. The first deliverable you produce from a drawing spends the token; every later print, plot, or export from that same drawing is free, even with no internet.
The license is stored inside the drawing file itself, signed by ConstructiVision so it cannot be tampered with. You can email the licensed drawing to a colleague to review, but only the original licensing firm can re-spend tokens against it.
Buy tokens once, use them across both apps, never lose them.
Whether you bought them as part of a membership or one-time, your tokens stay in your firm’s account until you spend them.
Monthly and annual memberships include 20 tokens per month. Unspent tokens roll forward forever — they are yours, not the subscription’s.
License a drawing once, print it 1,000 times. The CAD plugin treats the drawing UUID as the spend unit, not each individual plot.
Tokens belong to your firm, not a specific user or machine. Anyone at your firm can spend them in either app.
Sign in to ConstructiVision Web, go to Settings → AutoCAD Pairing, and revoke the lost machine’s token. Pair a replacement machine the same way you paired the first one. Drawings already licensed on the lost machine are not affected — only that machine’s ability to talk to the web app is cut.
Yes. Drawing licenses travel with the file. Open the licensed drawing on any paired machine at your firm and every print, plot, and export from it is free.
Every drawing you already licensed keeps printing forever. Membership unlocks the web app’s editor and AI features — it is not what makes the CAD plugin work. You can let the membership lapse and still produce deliverables from every drawing you previously licensed, on every machine you previously paired.
Only to pair your machine once and to license each new drawing once. After a drawing is licensed, it can be opened, plotted, printed, and exported with no internet for the life of the file.
ConstructiVision v12 for AutoCAD 2027 (in beta). Earlier versions of the CAD plugin continue to ship as a fully offline tool with no pairing required.
The license inside the drawing is cryptographically signed by ConstructiVision. Any edit to the license, or a copy moved to a different firm’s tokens, will be rejected by the plugin and the drawing will revert to read-only until a fresh token is spent to relicense it.
